Our Story
Studio 21 began with a vision: to create a vibrant venue and creative community that brings people together through creativity, dance, music, and movement. We wanted a place where dancers, singers, actors, fitness enthusiasts, teachers, and creatives could all share the same inspiring, welcoming home- somewhere that felt alive with energy, collaboration, and possibility.
As we worked on this idea, we realised it also offered the perfect future for Razzamataz Newcastle. After years of running classes across the city, our students deserved a dedicated home that reflected their commitment and ambition. Studio 21 became the natural evolution- both a creative hub for the wider community and a permanent base for a school that has shaped so much of our own journey.
What began as a practical search for somewhere to teach has grown into a place with its own identity and purpose. Studio 21 is shaped by the people who use it: the performers finding their voice, the adults returning to movement, the young creatives discovering what they’re capable of. It’s a space built for growth, for confidence, for community- somewhere that lifts you the moment you walk through the door.
