Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled for classes, courses, memberships, events, and studio hire at Studio 21.

By booking with us, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Classes, courses, and memberships

 

a) Ongoing classes and termly bookings

  • Fees for classes are non-refundable once the term or block has started.

  • Missed classes cannot be refunded or credited, including absences due to illness, holidays, or personal commitments.

  • Where possible, we may offer a catch-up session or alternative class at our discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

 

b) Monthly memberships

  • Monthly payments are non-refundable.

  • Memberships may be cancelled in line with the notice period stated at the time of booking.

  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing.

 

2. One-to-one and small-group sessions

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable.

  • Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled, subject to availability.

  • No-shows are charged in full.

 

3. Workshops, events, and short courses

  • Bookings are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Studio 21.

  • If we cancel an event, you will be offered a full refund or credit.

  • In exceptional circumstances, partial refunds or credits may be offered at our discretion.

 

4. Studio hire

  • Studio hire bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

  • If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Where sufficient notice is given, we may offer a credit or rescheduled booking at our discretion.

  • No refunds are given for non-attendance or early departure.

 

5. Cooling-off period (online bookings)

Where applicable, online bookings may be subject to a 14-day cooling-off period under consumer law.

 

However, this right does not apply to:

  • Services that begin within the 14-day period

  • Classes, events, or studio hire booked for specific dates or times

 

By booking a class or hire that starts within 14 days, you acknowledge that you waive your right to a refund once the service has begun.

 

6. Cancellations by Studio 21

If we are unable to run a class, session, or hire due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer:

  • A rescheduled session, or

  • A credit, or

  • A refund (where appropriate)

 

The decision will depend on the nature of the booking.

 

7. Exceptional circumstances

We recognise that exceptional situations can arise. Any goodwill refunds, credits, or adjustments are offered at our discretion and do not set a precedent for future cases.

 

8. How refunds are processed

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
